Note:  Entries are to be placed on display Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM and are not to be removed until Sunday, August 12th, 2018 at 4:30 pm.

Entry Form – Homecraft

Rules and Regulations:

  1. One entry per exhibitor in any section
  2. Exhibitor must be a Member of the Society unless listed as a Junior entry.
  3. All entries must be produced or grown by Exhibitor.
  4. Entries must be phoned in to 613-833-0004 or emailed to debbie.locas@sympatico.ca on or before Friday, August 3rd to Debbie Locas.
  5. Plates will be available for Vegetables.
  6. Judging will begin at 9:00 AM Thursday, August 9th.
  7. All vegetables should be lightly washed.
  8. Sweet corn, 1/3 husk removed from tip to butt.
  9. Onions not to be peeled, but roots may be left on.
  10. Blossoms should be left on beans.

  8. Cucumbers, gherkins (4) 1” to 2” – 1/2” stem still attached

ADULT CLASS – AGE 17 and over

  1. Summer Centre Piece – using plastic animals, flowers, vegetables and grains.  Not to exceed 24” high.
  2. Decorate a Straw hat in the Theme “Here We Grow Again”.
  3. Decorate a Straw wreath – Halloween theme

Prize Money        1st – $10.        2nd – $9.        3rd – $8.        4th – $7.

  1. Create a poster featuring 4 different crops grown in our area – must be hand drawn.  Not to exceed 22” x 28” Bristol board.
